I know what it's like to come from humble beginnings. I was raised by a single parent who, at the age of 50, earned only around K20โ€“K30 a day selling at the market, all while trying to keep up with the rising cost of living. I knew my parent couldn't afford to pay for my tertiary education, so while I was still in Grade 12, I made it my mission to search for scholarship opportunities instead of waiting for someone else to solve my future.

By God's grace, I was selected as one of only 17 candidates to receive the -PNG Operations & Maintenance Technician Program (Batch 9) scholarship immediately after graduating from high school. I put my tertiary studies on hold and chose this opportunityโ€”a decision that changed my life.

Today, I am proud to work for one of the world's leading companies, where excellence, integrity, honesty, and care are not just words but values we live by every day. Every step of this journey reminds me that where you come from does not determine where you will end up.

To every young person: don't let your circumstances define your future. Look for opportunities, apply for scholarships, and never stop believing in yourself. Your breakthrough could be just one application away.

All glory belongs to God. His grace has brought me this far, and I am forever grateful. ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ
