A Sad Farewell
💔💔💔💔💔💔😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
This morning, we woke up to heartbreaking news that has shaken us to the core. A young life that fought so hard for survival has gone too soon. Mercy Jammy, a beloved daughter, friend, and a proud UPNG graduate, has passed away, leaving behind tears, silence, and countless unanswered questions.
Mercy was young. She had dreams still unfolding, plans still in motion, and a promising future full of hope. She fought bravely through life’s challenges, holding on with strength and faith even when the road was difficult. Her journey was not easy, yet she walked it with courage, resilience, and quiet grace.
Today, that promising future feels like it has fallen too soon. The dreams she carried, the goals she was reaching for, and the life she was building now live on only in our memories. Her absence reminds us how fragile life is and how precious every breath truly is.
Yet, even in our grief, we find comfort in God’s Word:
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
2 Timothy 4:7
Mercy fought her fight. She ran her race. She kept her faith. Though her life was short, her impact was meaningful, and her story will not be forgotten. Her smile, her kindness, and her determination will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
May her soul rest in perfect peace. May God wrap His arms around her family and friends during this painful time. Farewell, Mercy Jammy- gone too soon, but never forgotten. 🕊️💔
