WESTERN Clydesdales rookie centre Jesuah Winni has taken on a new role away from rugby league, becoming an ambassador for Youth in Action for Humanity (YAH) in Papua New Guinea.

YAH was established in 2021 by the Owade family at the Rainbow community in Moresby West, National Capital District. What started as peace-building sports activities and community gatherings has grown into a wider youth movement.

After spending the night at the base of Mt. Giluwe, we stepped out into the cold at around 2:00 a.m. to find the sky completely transformed. Not a cloud in sight—just an endless ocean of stars stretching across the darkness. It was one of those rare moments where time seemed to stand still, and every click of the shutter captured a piece of the wild.

Adventures like this remind me that the best views often come long before sunrise.
