Yesterday, February 11, 2026, the MORMS Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), in collaboration with the Youth Commission on Elections and Appointments (COMEA) and The Quill and Ang Sinag, gathered the entire student body for one of the most anticipated moments of our aspiring leaders.

We witnessed the 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀, 𝗬𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄-𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆, and 𝗞𝗔𝗜𝗦𝗔 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 step onto one stage, face to face, ready to be known not just by their names — but by their visions, principles, and readiness to serve.

Like the eagle that soars high, these future leaders stepped forward with purpose, courage, and conviction as they introduced themselves before the student body, sharing their platforms, advocacies, and commitment to genuine student representation.

From the Presidency to the Main Officers and Representatives, each candidate was given the platform to speak, to be heard, and to stand firm on the values they uphold and the responsibilities they are prepared to carry. This moment gave every MORMSian the opportunity to assess their qualifications and visions — and to reflect on who will answer the call to leadership and lead MORMS to greater heights.

With a spectacular parade, the 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐥𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 officially kicked off at the Albay Provincial Sports Complex, Guinobatan, Albay — showcasing discipline, determination, and unstoppable school spirit. With banners held high and hearts filled with pride, athletes from different schools and clusters marched forward with purpose, reflecting months of hard work, rigorous training, and unwavering dedication.

More than just a ceremonial opening, the parade became a powerful celebration of 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥, highlighting the strong bonds shared among participating schools. It showcased not only the athletes’ and coaches’ competitive spirit but also the sportsmanship and solidarity that made the opening of the Palarong Panlalawigan 2026 a truly remarkable and inspiring event.

𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘, 𝗝𝗢𝗬, 𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗘, and a full Christmas spirit filled the AKB Gym!

As the sun dipped below the horizon, MORMSians gathered to witness the long-awaited 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆.

The event opened with a lively warm-up game — a fun twist on the classic “𝙃𝙚𝙥-𝙃𝙚𝙥-𝙃𝙤𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙮” called “𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚-𝙅𝙤𝙮-𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚.”

Adding to the magic, the 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗦 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀, who showcased their award-winning number from 𝘗𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘶𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘢 𝘎𝘶𝘪𝘯𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘯, together with the 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗦 𝗗𝗟𝗖 and the 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗦 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱, brought an energetic and heartwarming act that wrapped the crowd in coziness that lifted everyone’s spirits. 🌟🎶

𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒂 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝒂 𝒎𝒊𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒓, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒏𝒐 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝒉𝒊𝒅𝒆.

Last November 21, 2025, the Albay Astrodome transformed into a powerful stage of storytelling as municipalities and cities across the province of Albay gathered for the 33rd National Children’s Month Drama Play Competition. Guided by the theme “𝗢𝗦𝗔𝗘𝗖–𝗖𝗦𝗔𝗘𝗠 𝗪𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻: 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗜𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻,” Guinobatan proudly presented its entry, 𝐁𝐢𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨 — a performance that cast light on the harsh realities faced by children living in unsafe and exploitative environments.

Written by 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗗𝗶𝘇𝗮 𝗥. 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻, directed by 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝗲𝗹 𝗝𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗮, 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗡. 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗼𝗻, and 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗗𝗶𝘇𝗮 𝗥. 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻 herself, 𝐁𝐢𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨 delivered a gripping, emotional narrative brought to life by the exceptional performance of 𝟮𝟬 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗦𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀. Their commitment, artistry, and discipline transformed the story’s message into a powerful call for awareness — earning 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 among the 10 participating municipalities and cities.

This triumph reflects not only the students’ talent, but also the collective strength of the entire school and community. From the unwavering support of local leaders, to the dedication of teachers, parents, and the MORMS Production Team, every effort contributed to this well-deserved win.

Guinobatan’s triumph once again proves the excellence and spirit of MORMS — “𝗕𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗦𝗶𝗮𝗻, 𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭!”

With deep gratitude to everyone who guided, supported, and believed in these young storytellers, this achievement stands as a reminder that storytelling can spark awareness, inspire change, and defend the rights of every child.

In this play, we witness the life of Lara, an innocent young girl whose dreams were simple — to dance, to study, and one day become a doctor. But in the hands of abuse and greed, she was slowly pulled into a darkness she never should have faced.

Her story reflects the reality of thousands of children who are victims of 𝙊𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙭𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙣 (𝙊𝙎𝘼𝙀𝘾) 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙎𝙚𝙭𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙨 (𝘾𝙎𝘼𝙀𝙈).
