Bigyan mo ng pansin yung mga pumansin, nangamusta at nag alala sayo

Wag mo bigyan ng pake yung mga nawala, nanabla at nang dugas sayo.

Match energy, return effort, and let the rest fade out.

Simple rule, strong game.

“Useful is not the same as valuable.”

For the longest time, I thought being useful was the goal.

Always showing up. Always doing something.
Being the one they called when they needed help,
the one who made things easier, lighter, more convenient.

I wore it like a badge—
that I could fix things, lift weights, carry burdens, solve problems.
I thought it made me needed.
And being needed felt a lot like being loved.

But recently, life taught me a quiet truth:
you can be useful to people and still feel invisible.
You can give your time, your energy, your strength
and yet, when the moment passes, so do they.

Because usefulness fades.
When the job is done, the favor fulfilled, the wound healed…
you’re no longer needed.
And if that’s all you ever were—
you’ll be left wondering where everyone went.

But value…
value is different.
You are valuable not because of what you do,
but because of who you are.

Your value stays even when you’re not fixing, helping, or performing.
It lingers in quiet rooms and soft conversations.
It is felt in your presence, not just your service.
It is loved, not just needed.

So here’s to those who feel discarded the moment they can’t offer anything—
You were never just a tool for someone else’s convenience.
You are not your productivity.
You are not your usefulness.

You are valuable.
Even when you rest.
Even when you’re broken.
Even when you are simply being.

And those who see your worth even when you’re not “doing” anything—
Keep them close.
Because they’re the ones who know the difference.
And they’ll remind you when you forget.
