Day 17 of my Rizal Series.
Since June 1,2026 up until June 19,2026.
I will be posting Rizal monuments that I have been to with a short facts or description.

Rizal Park, Bagumbayan, Luneta. It is where Jose Rizal was executed on December 30,1896.

Designed and created by Swiss sculptor Richard Kissling, titled "Motto Stella" (Guiding Star), was actually the runner-up in an international design competition held by the colonial government between 1905 and 1907. It was awarded to Kissling after the first-place winner, Italian artist Carlo Nicoli, failed to post the required performance bond.
