The storm couldn’t touch the sunshine on their faces.

Typhoon winds and a stormy beach setting might not be what’s on every wedding mood board, but for Rej and Anjo, it created something far more unforgettable.

Against a moody, wind-swept sky, the contrast was impossible to miss: dark clouds above, and pure, radiant joy everywhere else. No gloomy weather could dampen the laughter, the love, and the absolute magic of this day.

Rhandonn, Kat, and the ebbs and swells of Siargao

It's always a dialogue with the horizon in Siargao. Days are measured in salt and soaking in the sun rather than hustle and deadlines. It slows one down and trades your hurried senses into surfboards, finding a strange kind of peace in the roars of the Pacific. This feels familiar to them, Rhandonn and Kat. It's the same quiet grit they discovered during the long, caffeine-fueled nights of medical school, learning that the most important things in life aren't bestowed easily, but earned.

Their love isn't a grand gesture. It's a steady anchor that held firm through the years, a bond forged in the trenches of their journey becoming physicians, especially back when their pockets were often empty. But their shared dreams were more than enough to keep them afloat. In Siargao, we see the hard-won ease in the ebbs and swells of Rhandonn and Kat. Their pre-wedding session was a celebration of this.

Having navigated the fragile lives in the wards, they now face the ocean with a different kind of courage, one that knows how to muddle through the tide as it pulls back and surges forward again.
