Nagtipon ang mga manggagawa at iba’t ibang sektor ng lipunan sa Calamba Crossing ngayong Mayo Uno upang ipagdiwang ang Labor Day. Bitbit ang mga panawagan para sa makatarungang sahod, sapat na benepisyo, at mas maayos na kondisyon sa trabaho, nagmartsa at nagdaos ng programa ang mga kalahok bilang pagpapakita ng pagkakaisa.

Sa gitna ng mainit na panahon, naging makulay ang selebrasyon sa pamamagitan ng mga talumpati, awitin, at iba pang aktibidad na nagbigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng papel ng manggagawa sa pag-unlad ng bansa. Nanawagan din ang mga lider ng grupo sa pamahalaan at pribadong sektor na higit pang pakinggan at tugunan ang hinaing ng mga manggagawa.

Ang pagdiriwang ng Mayo Uno sa Calamba Crossing ay nagsilbing paalala ng patuloy na laban para sa karapatan at dignidad ng bawat Pilipinong manggagawa.

Banna, Ilocos Norte — The Bagong Cabuyao Baseball Team closed out its elimination round campaign on Day 10 of the Little League Philippines Series National Finals 2026, wrapping up a challenging yet meaningful run against the country’s top young squads.

Facing Taguig City in their final elimination match, Cabuyao endured another tough outing in a one-sided game, with their opponents taking early control and maintaining it throughout. Despite the result, the team stayed composed and continued to compete with determination until the final out.

The conclusion of the elimination stage marks not just the end of their games, but the culmination of a journey filled with hard lessons and growth. Throughout the tournament, the players were tested against elite competition—gaining invaluable experience, building resilience, and strengthening their unity as a team.

While the standings may not reflect it, Bagong Cabuyao exits the elimination round with something equally important: a deeper understanding of the game and the level required to compete nationally. The experience in Banna will serve as a foundation as these young athletes look ahead to future tournaments, stronger and more prepared.

Banna, Ilocos Norte — On Day 9 of the Little League Philippines Series National Finals 2026, the Bagong Cabuyao Baseball Team fall to a dominant Tanauan City side in what turned out to be a one-sided contest at the national finals.

Tanauan City took control early and never looked back, capitalizing on timely hitting and solid defense to build a comfortable lead. Bagong Cabuyao struggled to find rhythm on both ends, with missed opportunities at the plate and difficulty containing Tanauan’s offensive surge.

Despite the lopsided result, Cabuyao continued to show effort and composure, pushing through each inning and staying engaged until the final out. The experience, though challenging, adds another chapter to their learning journey against some of the country’s top young talent.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟖 | 𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥

The Bagong Cabuyao Baseball Team along with the Cabuyao Youth and Sports Development Office, participated in a cultural tour in the Municipality of Banna, Ilocos Norte, where delegates from Cabuyao City were formally welcomed by local officials and community members.

During the visit, the delegation explored various cultural and historical sites, gaining insight into Banna’s rich heritage and traditions. The activity aimed to provide young athletes with a broader perspective beyond sports by immersing them in the local culture and fostering appreciation for community values.

Banna, Ilocos Norte — The grind continues on Day 7 of the Little League Philippines Series National Finals 2026, as the Bagong Cabuyao Baseball Team absorbed another tough defeat, this time at the hands of Zamboanga City.

Despite the setback, the Cabuyao squad showed unwavering determination throughout the contest, refusing to back down and battling inning after inning against a disciplined Zamboanga lineup. The scoreboard may not have favored them, but the team’s energy, hustle, and resilience remained evident until the final out.

With each game, the young athletes continue to gain valuable experience on the national stage, carrying lessons that go beyond wins and losses. As the tournament pushes forward, Bagong Cabuyao remains focused on finishing strong—driven by heart, pride, and the spirit of the game.

Ikaapat na araw sa Bayan ng Banna.

Sa kanilang unang laban, natalo ang Bagong Cabuyao Baseball Team laban sa Pasig City. Sa kabila nito, hindi sila nagpakita ng takot o panghihina kahit pa matindi ang init ng panahon.

Ipinamalas ng koponan ang kanilang determinasyon at tibay ng loob sa bawat inning ng laro. Bagama’t hindi pinalad na makuha ang panalo, naging kapansin-pansin ang kanilang disiplina, teamwork, at patuloy na pakikipaglaban hanggang sa huling sandali.

Pursigido silang bumawi sa susunod na laban bukas, dala ang mas matibay na kumpiyansa at aral mula sa kanilang unang pagsubok.
