Keratin is a fibrous, structural protein that serves as a 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙧, 🛡️ providing essential support for the skin, hair, and claws of both cats and dogs. It forms densely packed filaments that improve durability while maintaining flexibility, enabling fur to resist breakage and claws to endure daily wear and tear. This resilience is mainly due to its structural form, as it is rich in cysteine, responsible for 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜, 𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧-𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙛𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙗𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙨 🤝 that link neighboring protein chains. Additionally, this protein plays a crucial role in regulating moisture and shielding our furry friends from environmental stressors.

Factors such as excessive keratin production, nutritional imbalances, and external stress can lead to underlying health issues, which in turn are often manifested in the condition of their fur and skin.

𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗗 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗞 │𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗢 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗣𝗛 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗖𝗙 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁

As a result of the collaborative move to gather students, educators, and tech enthusiasts in the Bicol region, Naga College Foundation, Inc. (NCF) is set to stage the first-ever FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Regional Robotics Summit on December 17, 2024, with an aim to orchestrate dialogues and exhibits on robotics, coding, and STEM education.

NCF teamed up with the FLL Philippines, Felta Multi-Media, Inc., Naga City Government, Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), and Department of Science and Technology (DOST) in bringing such a groundbreaking event that will inspire the next generation of innovators in the region.

Based on the Facebook post of the NCF Robotics, the summit will cover a total of six (6) comprehensive sessions, which will revolve around hands-on workshops using Spike Prime, robot game strategy, innovation projects, collaboration and peer review, project presentations, and the future of STEM.

As stipulated in their official website, "FIRST® LEGO® League guides youth through STEM learning and exploration at an early age. From Discover, to Explore, and then to Challenge, students will understand the basics of STEM and apply their skills in an exciting competition while building habits of learning, confidence, and teamwork skills along the way."

Here is the good news! NCF still accepts participants for this regional summit and encourages academic institutions to be part of the future of technology in the region.
