I knew that feeling. Naranasan ko rin ’yan sa first marathon ko. Alam mo kung gaano kasakit, pero alam mo rin kung gaano na kalapit ang finish line.

So for a moment, I stopped capturing and told him:

“Wag mo nang ilakad. Push mo na! Sobrang lapit na!”

He picked himself up and kept going.

I came there to capture the moment, but sometimes, you end up becoming part of it.
