𝐁𝐑𝐔𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐔𝐓 𝐔𝐍𝐁𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐃

In the heart of Ground Zero, Marawi City, a remnant of a majestic minaret from a mosque defiantly rises above the somber skies.

Despite bearing the scars of the six-month conflict between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Maute Group in 2017, this historic structure now proudly graces the newly developed Rizal Park, drawing tourists from near and far with its compelling story of strength and resilience.

Mujāhid a timala sa marasay,
Dala salakaw a singanay
Nu pusung nandu lawas a narasay,
Kahanda nu madak’l na masampay.

Da ilabi su uyag-uyag a marasay,
Kanu uyag-uyag a pinarihayasan sa sigay.
Da ilabi sa kadatu, tamuk nandu babay,
Sabapin sa taban nandu surga i gapaginagkay.

Puluwan lagun a kinambalat’muwa sa kunt’la,
Dala mapand’ng su tind’g u mga matuwa.
Saguna, nasampay su kahanda,
Su gagaw nandu galaw na di gad’nda.

Di lipatanan su mindulugatan,
A nam’nday ku malimbunus a lalan.
Timal’mb’ng ku uni nu kinapanaguntaman,
Minusal sa ngiyawa, tamuk nandu pamikiran.

A Nyabay sangan ku kangudan
Na italus nandu ulaman su taban.
Ulaman su pindulugatan nandu ibangalintabun nu gaunutan,
Panduwan nu agama na makanggulalan.
