One week has passed since the final exam.🇵ðŸ‡
Under a brutal sun, the mountains of Nueva Vizcaya showed no mercy.
Dry trails.
Burning climbs.
Heavy breaths echoing through silent ridgelines.
No rain came to soften the course this year.
Only heat pressing down on every runner, hour after hour.
170 brutal kilometers.
Over 10,000 meters of climbing.
A new route that cared nothing about reputations, experience, or pride.
At H1 | PMTF 2026, organized by Intrepid Spirit, it was never just about running.
It became a battle of staying.
Of continuing forward when the body had already asked you to stop long ago.
Some fought the mountains.
Some fought time.
Most fought themselves.
Because somewhere deep within the wild beauty of Nueva Vizcaya, through endless ridgelines, quiet forests, and mountains glowing beneath sunrise, H1 stopped being physical.
It became something deeper.
Something personal.
A conversation between suffering and will.
83 runners stood beneath the arch at the start.
The mountains decided the rest.
This is H1.
One of the hardest trails in the Philippines.
