I thought I was only chasing the last light of the day
another sunset to admire, another sky to remember.
I never imagined it was leading me somewhere.

Every golden hour before this one
had been quietly rehearsing the moment
our eyes would finally meet.

It carried our story never letting it fade.
And when the evening painted the world
in amber and gold, you appeared

with a faded red handkerchief, not as a stranger,
but as someone my heart had been remembering
long before my mind could understand.

Perhaps that is what sunsets are for.
Not to remind us that the day is ending,
but to prove that after every passing season,
and every lifetime apart, love still finds its way home.

And maybe, the sun was never setting.
It was eading me to you. 🥀

Our job as storytellers is to make people care. If you can do this, you can immerse anyone in your work. when people see, they want to stay because they care. they want to stay because they’re now immersed in your world - they can see themselves in it.

that’s what i do with all my work. that’s the root of my cinematic approach and telling stories: i make people care - by showing real humans, and above all, real, genuine love stories.
