The LSA Taekwondo Team and KSM Taekwondo Iligan Dojang earned gold, silver, bronze, and quarterfinalist honors during the National Taekwondo Milo Competition held in Manila on October 4β5, 2025, with Venese Abrao securing gold and Zabdiel Soren Cruz claiming silver.
The annual event brings together athletes from across the country, providing a stage to showcase their remarkable skills. Among this yearβs competitors, the LSA Taekwondo Team and KSM Taekwondo Iligan Dojang stood out by bringing home multiple medalsβa feat that left their mark in Philippine Taekwondo.
Aside from the gold and silver finishes, several athletes also earned bronze medals: Brayden Patague, Drake Echavez, Xian Gallo, Rhian Mikyla Obach, and Xyriz Mitch Lila. Adding to this achievement were quarterfinalists Zachary Echavez, Nathan Oracion, Aoki Kaden Villa, and Axel Myls Maquindang.
Guiding the young athletes in their journey were Coach Makoy Polea and Coach Kat Llauder, whose mentorship played a vital role in the teamβs performance. Together, they have shown what true determination and resilience mean when it comes to pursuing their passion.
