Out of nearly 100 entries from across the Soccsksargen region and Davao City, eight remarkable photographs have been named winners of the 2025 Pitikan sa Ilognayan photo contest.

The event highlights the traditions, river culture, and resilient spirit of Surallah as it celebrates its 6th Surbétube: The Ilognayan Festival and 62nd founding anniversary.

Christian Marc Suela (Koronadal City) clinched first place, followed by Shem Torre Longakit (Davao City), who also received the Mayor’s Choice Award, and John Lherr Dulin (Isulan, Sultan Kudarat).

Finalists include: Dante Maquiling (Surallah), Evangel Lopez (Polomolok), Marc Paul Biaca (Tacurong City), Jeniel Buday (Koronadal), and Jiether Rabor (Isulan).

All entries are now on display at the Surallah Municipal Hall Lobby until July 11, 2025. The exhibit invites visitors to experience river stories told through lenses that celebrate heritage, creativity, and community pride.
