Location: Brgy. E. Duran, Bobon, Northern Samar
๐HOW TO GET THERE?
(For COMMUTERS)
* From Catarman ride a tricycle bound to Bobon. Travel time: 10-15 mins. Regular Fare is P20.00/ P40.00 (recent rate due to covid).
* From Bobon Terminal take a backride/ habal-habal bound to Brgy. E. Duran. Travel time: 45mins- 1hr. Fare is P100.00
* From Brgy. E. Duran, the jump off point, start trekking to Binu Falls. Approximately 2 hours ascent from the jump off. (Depends on your pacing)
(For NON-COMMUTERS)
* From Bobon proper along Catarman- Allen Road, straight ahead to Bangag Crossing then turn left following the farm to market road bound to Brgy. E. Duran. Travel time takes 30-45 mins.
* From Brgy. E. Duran, the jump off point, start trekking to Binu Falls. Approximately 2 hours ascent from the jump off. (Depends on your pacing)

06:00AM - ETD from Catarman to Bobon
06:20AM - ETA Bobon (Bangag crossing)
06:25AM - ETD from Bobon (Bangag crossing) to Brgy. E. Duran
07:00AM - ETA Brgy. E. Duran/ Jump off
07:05AM - ETD Jump off/ start trekking
09:05AM - ETA Binu Falls
- swim, explore, photo opps, etc.
2:00PM - descent/ ETD back to E. Duran/ jump off
4:00PM - ETA E. Duran/ Jump off
- Wash up/ rest
4:30PM - ETD to Bobon
5:10PM - ETA Bobon/ Bangag Crossing
5:30PM - ETA Catarman
- Home sweet home!๐
๐NOTE:
* From the jump off point, there are two routes bound to the Falls. The suggested route GOING to the falls is via lake crossing and hiking (ascend) for 2 hours then a traverse hike BACK to the jump off for only an hour.
* There is another falls 15-20 mins away from Binu Falls. Cottages are also available there.
* What to wear? better to wear pants/ compression leggings, quick dry shirts or any lightweight clothes, hiking sandals, etc.
* What to bring? Water, foods, extra clothes, etc. Water sources are available along the trail.
* Consideration: Highly discouraged during heavy rains. Check the weather first.
* Always observed CLAYGO and LEAVE NO TRACE!
