Have you ever heard about Tilikum? 🐳
Tilikum a young male orca, was captured in 1983 and spent his adult life in captivity, first in Canada and then at SeaWorld Orlando. He was involved in three human fatalities: a trainer in 1991, a nighttime visitor in 1999, and Dawn Brancheau in 2010. Despite the controversies surrounding captive orcas, Tilikum remained isolated and died at 36 years old in 2017. The film Blackfish documented his tragic story.

🐎 Sergeant Reckless was a little Mongolian mare that the U.S. Marines got during the Korean War to help carry ammo.

Even under intense gunfire, she bravely delivered supplies and helped bring injured soldiers to safety.

At the Battle of Outpost Vegas, she made an incredible 51 solo trips in a single day, hauling more than 9,000 pounds of ammo up tough hills, often on her own without anyone guiding her.

Because of her courage, she was awarded two Purple Hearts, promoted to Staff Sergeant, and earned lasting admiration from the Marines. After the war, she retired in the U.S. and is remembered as one of the most heroic war horses ever.
