Some section is a school zone, a church zone, a community zone.
Pero sa ganito kakitid na daan โ siksik sa estudyante, simbahan, tindahan, tricycle, at LRT foot traffic โ 60 kph ang max speed limit.
โ Makitid ang kalsada
โ Mataas ang pedestrian volume
โ May paaralan at simbahan mismo sa gilid
โ May local stores at loading areas
โ May LRT na nagpapadilim sa paligid
โฆpero highway-level ang speed limit.
On a street this narrow โ surrounded by students, worshippers, local stores, tricycles, and heavy foot traffic โ itโs no surprise why it becomes dangerous for people walking, biking, using e-bikes, and riding e-trikes.
A community street should never be high-speed.
What we need is a 20 kph School Zone to protect children, parents, riders, and pedestrians.
Banning is not the solution.
The right speed limit โ and the right street design โ is the real answer.
