WE ARE IN THE EVENTS and ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY!🙏❤️🙏
PRODUCTION PERSONNEL / PROF ARTIST ...
THE COVID-19 AFFECTED MY WORK! OUR WORK!!!
They cancelled all kinds of EVENTS...concerts, corporate launch, conference, exhibits, theater shows, and other social gatherings which may have contact with people. Our work is greatly affected by this pandemic. There are NO clients who would want to hire our services in the coming months, even after this ECQ, due to fear of the virus and due to government mandated safety measures.
As an EVENT PERSONNEL, we are able to provide food on the table, humble home for my Family, provide for our basic needs, pay the household bills and some quite few savings in the bank. Some of my Friends, Production TEAM and I rely on this job to support our families, not until this PANDEMIC came and everything changed. 😢A few cancelled events starting February and a lot came after before April started. As early as now most events are still cancelled indefinitely since we don't know when will this pandemic end.
It feels like a bucket of cold water splashed on our backs, and now I am beginning to doubt.
- What will happen?
- How long will this last?
- What shall we do?
- How can our families and the families of my staff and team survive?
Yes, we are all affected. All that remains is we keep hoping and praying, that WE, in the Event Industry, will always survive and will get through this.
EVENT PERSONNEL are the ones who bring joy, fun, magic, stories, unforgettable moments and even inspiration to our audience and clients. We bring life to the party!
AND YET, WE ARE ALSO AFFECTED OF THIS PANDEMIC... not just the regular and on call employees of a company.. not only the business owners.. not only the frontliners.. not only the fortunate
WE ARE ALSO PART OF THOSE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AT THE MOMENT and yet, the government is just choosing who to give assistance to...we know the governments' priority and we do understand... we are TAXPAYERS TOO!!!
We have contributions to the money that given to aide people...why are we being neglected?? I may not be speaking just for myself but for our team as well and also be responsible for their welfare. However I and the company have also limited resources since no income and collectibles are coming in from clients nor the government and it has been differed, till when? We don't know.
If you belong in the event industry, copy and paste this in your wall....... with affection and for our authorities, to give adequate policies so that we will be given the same benefits that some other have.
HEAL AS ONE, WORK AS ONE - HUMANITY!!!
