𝗧𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆-𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗼, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹.

Four airplanes were hijacked and crashed into the World Trade Center towers in New York, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

Thousands lost their lives in the attacks and their aftermath. America - and, in many ways, the world - was never the same.

Today, we remember the victims, the heroes, and all those whose lives were forever changed on September 11, 2001.

This bird wore three distinct liveries during her time with Cebu Pacific.

When she was delivered in October 2014, she arrived wearing the then-standard “Peach Mango Pie” livery. From August 2016 to June 2018, she took on a special “Henann Resorts” livery, before eventually being repainted years later into Cebu Pacific’s current standard livery.

She wore that livery until her retirement in July 2026, bringing an end to an incredible career with Cebu Pacific. She's currently stored in KUL alongside her sisterships, RP-C4101 and RP-C4103, awaiting the next chapter in what has already been an incredible career.

Catch the “CEOs” while you still can! Soon, they’ll be history - closing yet another chapter in Cebu Pacific’s history. ✈️

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒕𝒓𝒐 𝑱𝒖𝒂𝒏, 𝑺𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑶𝒇𝒇... ✈️

As of 2332H PST, RP-C4101, an Airbus A320 proudly wearing Cebu Pacific’s iconic and beloved “Peach Mango” - retro / classic livery, departed Manila, likely for the final time, as it begins its next chapter.

For many of us who grew up seeing and riding aboard Cebu Pacific's planes, this livery was more than just a paint scheme. It was a familiar sight in the Philippine skies - a symbol of an era that helped shape Cebu Pacific into the airline we know today. RP-C4101 was the last aircraft to carry it, and with its departure, a legendary and iconic chapter in the airlines' rich history comes to a close.

There’s a certain sadness in watching something so familiar disappear for the last time. But endings are also reminders of how far we’ve come. The Peach Mango era may be over, but Cebu Pacific continues to move forward. With a growing fleet of next-generation aircraft and an expanding route network, the airline is well positioned for a brighter, stronger, and more resilient future.

On a personal note, this is also the last link I have to my childhood aviation days. From riding the first batch of A319/20s when they were brand new - including 5J963 to Davao back in 2007, to taking my final flight aboard it from Davao as well. It was, poetically, a full-circle moment.

So take a bow, 4101. You’ve served us all well. Hopefully, one of Cebu Pacific’s future aircraft will wear this livery again. It’s simply too iconic and eye-catching. A livery that draws attention wherever it went.

Finally! After more than a year, I was able to spot another “Double Gold” in Manila, albeit doing a different type of commercial operation. It’s not every day that this bird departs around noon, so this was indeed a rare catch!

After six long years, she's finally back! "9932" returns to commercial service today.

Kudos to PAL and all its team members for safely restoring this plane back to service.

Spotting planes in Manila is always something else. One day, you have your “usual suspects,” and the next, you’re capturing rare planes - such as this XiamenAir Boeing 737 Max 8, which happens to be China’s 2,000th Boeing aircraft.

For an aircraft family that's been in production since the late ’60s, and with more than 12,000 units built, spotting a special aircraft from this iconic family is quite fascinating.
