My career in the field of graphic design, photography and videography began in the Philippines over 30 years ago. My passion for art led me to study at the University of Santo Tomas (the oldest existing university in Asia), Bachelor of Fine Arts Major in Advertising Arts. My success opened doors of opportunities for me in the corporate world. I worked as an in-house graphic designer and commercial
photographer for the Filipino television company SKY Cable (under ABS-CBN Channel 2) and GMA Kapuso, Channel 7. I then had the honor of becoming a Fine Arts Professor in my Alma Mater. In February 2003, my wife and I took a leap of faith and moved to the United States permanently. We were excited to further our careers and begin a new life and a new family in North Carolina. Perseverance and hard work paid off and in just three months, I was working for WC Publishing doing what I loved best, working on all kinds of layout and graphic printing. In 2006, I joined with friends to form the Creative Core. Then I branched out on my own to form JM Graphic-Web Solutions. The unfortunate economic decline during that time did not allow the business to thrive to its full potential. I did not let this set back stop me from pursuing my passion for art. Instead, I grew my career by freelancing mainly for churches, organizations and individuals. Today, I take great pride in being a creative artist in advertising, photography and videography. I find this profession to have an invaluable role in the marketplace. Innovative marketing strategies developed through creative artwork, media, printing and photography is the key to the success and the growth of any business; weather it may be a small start up, a large corporation or a driven organization. As a graphic designer it is my mission to promote that which will positively impact individuals and families all over the world. Above all, it is my conviction to use my talent to glorify The Great Art Director of All Times: Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior, the Great I AM. I give God the credit for everything good in my life, especially my creativity and artwork.
