PNP MESSAGE FOR LABOR DAY 2026

Operatives from Isabel Municipal Police Station, Leyte Police Provincial Office, served a warrant of arrest against the accused for three counts of statutory r**e with no bail recommended and eleven counts of r**e by sexual assault with a total recommended bail of PhP2,200,000.00. Through sustained intelligence work and precise police action, the arrest reinforces the organization’s commitment to ensuring that offenders are brought before the law and communities are safeguarded from further harm.

“This arrest sends a clear message that those who commit grave offenses will not evade justice. Our men and women will continue to pursue offenders relentlessly, ensuring that communities remain safe and protected,” said PGEN Nartatez.
Pananagutan nila ang kanilang ginawa,” he added.

This accomplishment reflects the PNP Focused Agenda—a strategic framework of transformation designed to make police service more responsive and accountable to the needs of the public. Central to this effort is the priority on enhanced managing police operations, ensuring that law enforcement actions are deliberate, consistent, and grounded in the rule of law.

“Operations like this demonstrate our firm resolve to uphold justice and protect the vulnerable sectors of society. We will continue to strengthen our capabilities to ensure that no criminal remains beyond the reach of the law,” PGEN Nartatez emphasized.

As the PNP intensifies its manhunt operations against wanted persons and strengthens its campaign against heinous crimes under the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., it continues to assure the public of “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong mabilis, tapat, at nararamdaman.”

PNP BACKS NAPOLCOM DECISION, VOWS CONTINUED INTERNAL ACCOUNTABILITY DRIVE

The Philippine National Police (PNP) expresses full support for the recent decision of the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) ordering the dismissal from service of police personnel found administratively liable for Grave Misconduct and Conduct Unbecoming of a Police Officer.

The PNP underscores its firm commitment to accountability and discipline as key pillars of its ongoing reform agenda. PNP Chief, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., reiterated the organization's firm stance on internal cleansing and professional integrity.

“The PNP takes note of the NAPOLCOM decision and stands firm in holding accountable those who betray the badge and the public trust. There is no place in the organization for abuse of authority, and we will relentlessly pursue internal cleansing to ensure that only those worthy of the uniform remain in the service.”

He added that the organization will continue to cooperate with oversight bodies and uphold transparency in all accountability processes. We will always respect mechanisms that ensure truth and accountability,” he said.

The Chief PNP emphasized that misconduct in any form erodes public trust and will not be tolerated under his leadership.

The PNP assures the public of its continued commitment to strengthening internal discipline, improving operational standards, and ensuring that only law-abiding and accountable personnel remain in the organization—aligned with its reform thrust: Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman.
