To Myself,
I’m so proud of you.
You are now standing at the very first beginning of something greater. Not long ago, you walked across the stage your graduation and now, your eyes are set on the next mountain: the MIDWIFERY LICENSURE EXAM.
The journey wasn’t easy, and yet, you did not give up.
Remember those sleepless nights, the early mornings, the tears you held back when everything felt too heavy, and the silent prayers when no one else was listening?
You were there for yourself. You held on.
You came from Nacurohan Elementary School, continued at GNHS Nacurohan Annex/MAIN, and now, you are a Midwifery graduate a proud scholar of Mayor Ella, and a Clinical Proficiency Awardee.
From the soil of your humble beginnings, a dream bloomed. You never let poverty stop your purpose. You turned pain into fuel, and sacrifices into strength.
To the young boy who once dreamed with trembling hands…
Look at you now.
You are more than your achievements.
You are the result of courage, the fruit of faith, and the living proof that hard work and prayers can move mountains.
Let this moment remind you:
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14.
And now, you walk toward the board exam the gateway to your profession, the last stretch before you serve as a healer, a helper, and a light to mothers and children.
Padayon, self. Keep going.
You are not just dreaming anymore. You are becoming.
