There are certain cars we can call perfect. Built for a purpose kind of perfect. Kinda like a Porsche GT3 which is perfect in most people's eyes until one realizes they may be able to enjoy life more in a Boxster GTS 4.0.

So how does that relate to a Ford Bronco? Well, this is the equivalent of a Porsche GT3 in the off-roading world. Not only is it arguably the most eye-catching 4x4 in the market, but it's also the most off-road capable car straight from the factory.

This was my dad's dream 4x4. His "end game" SUV. The perfect 4x4 in his eyes but priorities change and such is life. We never even got to take this to a proper trail. 🤣 So the time has come to let go of this monster machine. Hopefully it goes to an owner who can really enjoy the car. My dad really enjoyed modifying this car and all of it has been documented in our last Bronco vlog on Youtube. There's too many parts to list so please just watch it if you're interested. 👍🏻

Owning this GR Yaris is probably the best car ownership experience I will ever have here in the Philippines. 💭

I think it's one thing for a manufacturer to build a phenomenal car, as not all are even capable of doing that right now. It’s an entirely different thing though when a manufacturer backs it up with an aftersales experience that gives owners more opportunities and experiences to truly enjoy the car you just bought. To all the GR owners out there, let's cherish it.

Toyota already gave us something special when they made the GR Yaris. For most manufacturers who successfully build a great car, that’s where the story ends, but Toyota went further by adding layers to the ownership experience.

I'm talking about the genuine aftermarket support through GR Garage, access to exclusive events such as Akio Toyoda's visit to the Philippines, a first look at the GR Corolla, and watching the Vios Cup up close. Most importantly, almost every track day I’ve done since 2021 was hosted and made possible by Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines. It's really hard not to appreciate how GR owners are always so well taken care of.

I think it’s reached a point where the ownership experience itself influences buying decisions. These days, the car alone isn’t the only product that matters. Even with near identical cars like the GR86 and the Subaru BRZ, becoming part of the GR ecosystem is, in my eyes, far more enticing simply because of how engaging and rewarding it is to be a GR owner. I wonder if the same applies between the GR Corolla and the Civic FL5 Type R?

Maybe in the future I’ll own higher end sports cars, but I doubt the ownership experience will be this dynamic, inclusive, and fun. Few brands today make you feel like you’re not just buying a car, but also being welcomed into something bigger.

I’ve said a lot, but above all, I find myself incredibly lucky to be experiencing all of this. As an enthusiast, this has been a game-changing experience, and I'm grateful to the folks at and for providing such an enriching ownership journey. 🤝

I got my dad to ride shotgun with me for the last trackday of the year! 😁

We just wanted to have a fun time but I somehow managed to set a new personal best with my dad as a passenger. This wasn't expected after downgrading my tires to something more street oriented. I guess that's how heat-cycled my old tires were. 🤣

Racebox data tells me I can still shave 1.36 seconds if I drive a perfect lap but I don't know if I still got that in me. 😬 On the bright side, the vacuum hose that popped off during my last trackday didn't do it this time so the hairspray did its work. 🤔

Also just celebrated 20,000 kilometers of daily drives with the GR Yaris. 🥳 Yes, my daily commutes aren't that far. 🤣

Thank you for organizing this trackday and for the exclusive first look of the new GR Corolla! It's a cool practical car for enthusiasts looking for a fun automatic performance car!

I noticed there's a bit more stretch on the sidewall compared to the AD08R, now that I have the 4 S installed on the car. The tread pattern isn't as instagrammable too, but I think the sidewall design kinda makes up for it. 🤔

Beyond aesthetics, I'm happy with my decision to downgrade on dry grip in exchange for daily comfort, wet grip, and longevity. Now I can fully enjoy my audio system once again. 🙂‍↕️

It's only been a day on these Michelins so I don't miss the Neova AD08R's yet, but maybe I will once I'm back on the race track. 🏁

More boost = more fun but not when a vacuum hose pops out by itself. 🤣 Thankful for the GRYPH boys for helping me diagnose and fix the problem. Thought I wouldn't make it home but I did. Now to find a more permanent solution to prevent this from happening on my next track day. 🤓
