I decided to share this postnup session as a two-part set because I genuinely had so much fun and found it hard to narrow down what to upload. It was refreshing to photograph a young, carefree couple who perfectly matched both our studio and outdoor locations.

Karl and CJ are both incredibly creative, so it was easy to match their energy and bring our shared vision to life. Karl being a photographer himself—and often photographing CJ as his muse—definitely shows in how natural they are in front of the camera and how well they understand what poses work for them.

They’re getting married again in just a few days—yes, again—after already having a civil wedding and now celebrating with a church ceremony. Thank you, Karl and CJ. It was truly a joy photographing you both. Congratulations!

Rams and Angela, who are based in the U.S., chose to have their church wedding in their hometown in Bataan, even though they were already married civilly. There’s something warm and priceless about being surrounded by a big crowd of friends and family to celebrate with you. Truly, Filipino culture keeps our family ties strong.

*Story time ❤️

Dr. Cial Agbayani-Cruz is my wife’s OB-GYN, and she’s someone we instantly clicked with. I remember that during Aira’s pregnancy, we would always look forward to every check-up because, as my wife described it, even though her pregnancy was difficult, talking to Doc Cial always felt like a breath of fresh air. She explains everything in detail, never rushes, and is always patient and entertaining with all our questions. When Aira gave birth to RL, she even prayed for us before we left the hospital.

Even after Aira gave birth, we kept in touch with Doc Cial, so we were genuinely happy when we found out she was pregnant. We had always wanted to take photos of her as a way of thanking her for how she cared for Aira and RL while she was still in Aira’s tummy. But Doc Cial would always say that she was shy or she still needed to lose weight, and so on. So when we learned she was expecting, we really insisted on doing this maternity portrait session.

And today, seeing her not only as a doctor but now as a mother feels incredibly special. There’s something beautiful about watching someone who helps women conceive and brings families into being finally walk through that same journey herself. Motherhood has deepened her empathy, passion, and understanding in a way that only lived experience can. It’s a gift that will surely make her an even more remarkable fertility doctor and OB-Gyne.

And now look at her—so beautiful and blooming. She used to be so conscious, but really… why be conscious when you look this good while pregnant? She’s glowing without even trying. ✨

Roughly a month remains until Jolo and Ysa tie the knot! I’ve known Ysa from past portrait shoots over the years. During their prenup session, they shared with me their new faith in Jesus — which led to some really meaningful conversations. It fills me with joy whenever people I know come to Christ. Thank you, Jolo and Ysa, for such an enjoyable prenup session. Can’t wait to see you both in October! ✨
