Eight months ago, I decided to commit fully to my personal hobby, which is photography. Relearning everything that I ‘intentionally’ forgot as I emerge from my survival mode self to emancipation. Seeing life through my eyes was always obscure; I am not good at articulating with my words, and was often misinterpreted. I have one strong foundation that I tried to train, which is color.
Being a beginner photographer doesn't hinder me from developing my eye for beauty or a taste for something. I always look for references in the work of others, and shoot whenever inspired. As they say, art is an endless reference to one another, but what differs is the love that you have put into it.
Grateful that I have been given this privilege to share my art, my personality, and my story. Life has not been kind to me, and I feel like I have been catching up with my early years at this time and age. This is how life should feel, and I know my younger self was very happy to see me flourish.
I have developed a taste for fashion thanks to my Ading, and I am trying to step out of my boundaries and express this newfound love for fashion and incorporate it through portraits. I wish to manifest to produce a gaggy fashion shoot next year! I want to conquer my fears and try other things that I yearn for. Happy New Year, and hoping I can bring out the rainbow!
