Two years. Countless lessons. A lifetime of purpose. β€οΈπ€
When I first joined the Emergency Response Team β Red Cross Youth SCSC Council, my intention was simply to learn first aid for myself, to gain the knowledge and skills I could use during emergencies. I never imagined that this decision would lead me to two meaningful years of service, personal growth, and countless opportunities to help others. What started as a desire to be prepared became a journey of compassion, courage, and volunteerism.
Along this journey, I found more than just knowledge and experience, I found a family. To my fellow volunteers, officers, and everyone I had the privilege of serving alongside, thank you for the trust, friendship, teamwork, and unforgettable memories that helped shape me into a better responder and a better person.
A special thank you to Maam Tatet Ajava, our School Nurse and Adviser. Your guidance, patience, and unwavering dedication have greatly influenced our journey. While there were moments when we misunderstood each other, those experiences taught us valuable lessons in communication, understanding, and growth. Thank you for believing in us, challenging us to be better, and reminding us of the true meaning of service and responsibility.
My sincere appreciation also goes to our President, Kler Dave Thank you for your leadership, trust, encouragement, and for leading the organization with passion and commitment. It was a privilege to serve under your leadership and to learn from your example.
One of the greatest blessings this organization has given me is genuine friendship. Through RCY, I found my brothers in Tropang G! Dave, Paul, Carl. From duty calls and trainings to laughter, Road trip and Nature trips, and unforgettable memories, you made every moment worthwhile. Thank you for the friendship that goes beyond the organization. I know that wherever life takes us, the bond we built will always remain.
To the entire Red Cross Youth family, thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve humanity, grow as a leader, and discover that the greatest reward in volunteerism is touching the lives of others.
As I close this chapter, I carry with me the lessons, friendships, and memories that will forever have a place in my heart. This may mark the end of my term, but it will never be the end of my commitment to serve.
Always First, Always Ready, Always There.
Thank you, Emergency Response Team β Red Cross Youth SCSC Council, for two unforgettable years. Serving with all of you has been one of the greatest honors of my college life. Once a Red Crosser, always a Red Crosser. β€οΈπ€
