📢 UPDATE: DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2026 – Grade Transmutation Phase-Out

The Department of Education is gradually shifting away from the traditional grade transmutation system to ensure that learners’ grades truly reflect their actual academic performance and competencies.

📌 Phase-out Timeline & Key Changes:

🗓️ SY 2026–2027
• Transmutation is still applied but with an adjusted table
• Example: a raw score of 70 may correspond to a passing grade of 75

🗓️ SY 2027–2028 onwards (Grades 4–12)
• Transmutation will be fully removed
• Final grade will directly reflect the actual computed score
• Example: raw 75 = final grade 75 (no adjustment)

🎯 Goal of the Policy:
To promote fairness, accuracy, and accountability in grading—ensuring that grades represent real learning, not just adjusted scores.
