A salute to those who continue this tradition year after year.
I was once part of this—and I know the weight it carries.
The heat. The exhaustion. The silence. The discipline it demands.
I know the late nights of preparation, the early mornings of commitment,
and the quiet battles fought in every single step.
This was never meant for show.
This is faith—tested through sacrifice.
From parents, passed down to children.
From friends, shared and carried through time.
A tradition not only practiced, but believed in—deeply rooted and quietly lived.
Today, we witness devotion in its purest form—
people walking, carrying, enduring…
holding on to something far greater than pain.
Behind every vow is a story.
A prayer.
A burden only God truly understands.
And while Good Friday reminds us of this kind of faith,
I hope it doesn’t end here.
Because a vow is not just for Holy Week.
It is a promise we carry every day—
in our choices, in our discipline,
and in who we choose to become when no one is watching.
Pagkatapos ng panata… saan ka dadalhin ng pananampalataya mo?
Sa dating ikaw, o sa mas maayos na bersyon ng sarili mo? 🙏
