For this photo, we went for a natural or earthy look, hence we used browns and neutrals as props.

Why are petals common in skincare photos?

Artificial petals as props for skincare is a great way to add some pretty visuals without the need for real flowers.

They can be used on their own or combined with other ingredients such as cream, lotion, serum etc!

Petals are usually made from paper but they're also sometimes made out of plastic which makes them more durable and easier to manipulate than paper-made ones.
