Ramkot Fort - Echoes of the 17th Century
We humans are capable of forgetting history.
Centuries ago, this hilltop stronghold overlooked everything, a strategic fort guarding the region. Today, it stands in silence… no armies, no battles, just a picturesque reminder of time, surrounded by hills and the waters of Mangla Dam.

Red Moon partial eclipse over Islamabad | 3rd March 2026

Dusty horizon delayed the moonrise by 15 min, but when it finally appeared, it was worth the wait 🥺

Shot from F9 Park with Sony A7IV + 200–600mm.
Not a perfectly clear sky but still a beautiful moment to capture

Supermoon 🌕 from Daman-e-Koh, Islamabad - 8:47 PM | 7th October 2025

Yesterday was the peak moment, and I finally captured what I’ve always dreamed of - the Supermoon.

For years, I tried shooting the moon with my phone and ended up disappointed every time. But ever since I got the Sony 200–600 mm, I’ve been waiting for a chance to test it for sports, wildlife, and of course, the moon.

Initially, I planned to capture it with an interesting city composition, but couldn’t quite figure it out. So, my friends Mussawar and Faizan joined me on a spontaneous Supermoon adventure. We drove up towards Pir Sohawa, but since it was pitch dark with barely any vehicles, we chose Daman-e-Koh — the safest and most scenic spot on the route.

After experimenting with different settings, I finally managed to capture the Supermoon right at its peak. Shot about 30 frames and later stacked 10 images for this final result.
Had an incredible time under the night sky
