You might be aware of the recent meme trend of the chill guy right?
But you might not be aware of one of the chill lecturers of JSMU, if you ever had his company or personal talks with him, you might be confused about, is he really a lecturer or my batchmate? Yes I am talking about Dr Ovais Qureshi. A friendly lecturer who always keeps smiling and ready to help as always. But do you know behind this smiling face and relax behavior, there is a story of inspiration for all those who are struggling in their lives. We medicos always face challenges and sometimes we feel exhausted and there is a time where we wanna leave everything, Dr Ovais also has such a story to tell, but he didn't stop do you wanna know how and why? Maaf Kardo ~ made to just explain a proper hadees which is regarding forgiveness. Maafi mangnay mein pehel karnay se Allah izzat barhatay hein na k kam kartay. So we all (including me) need to take care of this hadees and may Allah bless us with this sense k hum properly is hadees k meaning in depth dil k sath samajh sakein Ameen.

Professor Dr Sadia Akram, former Pro Vice Chancellor of Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Head of Department of Pathology, Head of Disciplinary Committee.
Dr Sadia possesses the ears, which listens like a mother, has heart which always ready to show kindness. It was an honour for me to conduct podcast with her. Dr Sadia doesn’t need any introduction she always proved herself as a beam of light and always mentored students really well. Indeed I personally feel like a major loss after her retirement, and I wish we and our juniors in future get mentors and senior professors like her. Do watch the podcast on my YouTube Channel. Are you the student of MBBS/BDS of JSMU and isn’t aware of the name of Dr Nazish Jaffer? I don’t think you then belong from JSMU.
Dr Nazish Jaffer’s name isn’t uncommon to the students of Jinnah Sindh Medical University. She is one of the polite and humble teacher and also a renowned researcher, she is currently having around 40 publications in national and international journals and as with Dr Tafazul, one of her research on covid has also been recognised by World Health Organisation (WHO), due to her commitments and day by day increase in responsibilities she isn’t able to give ample of time for mentorship to students, but back in past she used to teach A to Z to every student whoever used to approach her for research, so yes she also remained my mentor and still always supports me in my every task. This is my 8th podcast with the assistant professor of Pathology at Jinnah Sindh Medical University. Do share, like and subscribe the channel. Thank you!!

KARTIK KUMAR RATHI .. (who is he?), nope sorry I don’t know him, yes these questions came across to hear for you guys if you take this name before September, 2023. Kartik’s life was simple during university life, most of the students didn’t know him, merely few batch mates were aware of him, due to his humorous nature and I personally know him from my 1st day of university life, because he was the 1st person to whom I met in my university life, but it was covid time so we usually didn’t get time to meet at that time and after that our group got changed. But now, if you are an MBBS student in JSMU even though you aren’t interested in pursuing USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Exam, which is initial compulsory step to practice medicine in United States) the name of Kartik isn’t uncommon to anyone, even I heard his name from my friends of different medical universities like AKU,Dow, UMDC and Ziauddin. Kartik was never wishing to be a part of this university, his ambition was to pursue his medical initial degree from AKU but unfortunately he didn’t make it, so he was in depressing life, just passing his time in this university but, how his life just got changed which inspires a lot of other medical students. So, basically there was a rule in our university which doesn’t allow the 3rd year MBBS students to appear in USMLE step 1 exam, but Kartik made this change with the help of different sources, just hear the inspirational medical journey and how he made this change through his own words. Hey JSMU Students,
Have you ever found a mother in the form of a teacher in JSMU, who cares for you, supports you, motivates you, emotionally helps you, listens to you, gets worried for you like a mother, if I ask so out 100 students 100 will quote the name of DR FATIMA ABID.
Dr Fatima is currently serving as the assistant professor of physiology in Jinnah Sindh Medical University, she is having an additional charge of Director of Admission at JSMU. Due to her dedication and honesty with her job, she is having and also had in the past one of the important positions for the important tasks just like the focal person of Sindh Medical College for sexual harassment committee and also the logistics and venue coordinator for the MDCAT (Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test) 2023. As a lot of people can assess from this that through how many charges she might have gone through, but after all this she always shares positive thoughts with her students and never let any student go empty handed from her office and she always makes sure that the problem of students gets resolved on priority basis. Miss Asfiya Azis, you might never heard this name, but I think no one in JSMU or even a lot from other than JSMU are most familiar with the name JSMU Communications, yes if you have ever seen this name in your feed, so the person behind handling everywhere this name either it’s social media or representing JSMU on national or international news, that person’s name is Ma’am Asfiya Aziz. She is currently serving as the Head of Media cell and communications at JSMU, and except the university officials a very few people know her and I am one of them. She always tries to make a best impression of JSMU through limited resources, making a positive image worldwide and also she is a lecturer in JSMU. She is also one of the sweetest, friendly and helping person I have met during my university life. She served in the renowned newspaper of Pakistan and also in Agha Khan University, listen to her inspirational story as how she faced a lot of challenges during her lifetime and as a woman how she overcome those challenges.

The name of Dr Noor un Nisa isn’t unknown to the students of Jinnah Sindh Medical University. She is one the sweetest and despite being aged she is a friendly lecturer the students of JSMU can have. Her medical journey is also filled a lot of inspirations and challenges, listen to her story that she overcome those challenges and never left hope at any moment in her life, as she used to be a gynaecologist but due to an incident she left that but still continuing her medical journey and planned to do till she is having strength, and still she is making all the women and Pakistani nation a proud.

Dr Amber Noorani is one of the youngest and also amongst one of the favourite lecturers of the Jinnah Sindh Medical University, she is currently working as the lecturer in the Biochemistry department of JSMU, listen to her inspirational story and how she went to Australia and cleared her step 1 of AMC there and then she came back to Pakistan and serving for the nation.

We had one of the special event of year in our university that is Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) Karachi on 16th of April, 2024 and it happen on yearly basis, where I have shown different Kind of amazing activities and little bit introduction about the organisations and societies working in our university, some special appearances have been shown by my batchmates which are from Maldives and also a junior who is from Sri Lanka. Also the CIG President and Founder Kartik Kumar who is my batchmate as well, introduced and told the reason for making an amazing interest group. Do watch the whole Vlog/video to know more.
