Women are told how to dress, how to behave, where to go and when to marry.

Then when something happens to them, those same choices are put on trial.

We don't just police women.

We make women responsible for men’s behavior and that is exactly what we need to stop normalizing

For years, women have been told how to speak, how to react, and how to be.
But have we ever stopped to ask if we truly listened?
This is a conversation about double standards, unheard voices, and breaking the silence.

A man can hurt women, abuse his power, face serious allegations and still have institutions, politics and public opinion bending over backwards to protect his reputation and position.

At some point, you have to stop asking why women keep speaking up and start asking why the system keeps making room for men who hurt them.

Sometimes you freeze in the face of tragedy.
Or in our case.
Tragedy after tragedy.

While surviving in a broken system ourselves, light, internet, roads, law&order, economy, petrol, war, what an assault on our nervous systems!

I feel frozen to even imagine what are people, women of my country are going through. The family of Mir raza, little girls, children in gaza, afghan women and it all makes me speechless.

I couldnt record reels because I couldnt talk.
I couldnt finish writing a script.
Its all just too painful to categorise in any way.

I just wanted to come here and share honestly that I am overwhelmed. And its okay! Its not about proving who cares the most, its mostly about awareness and honesty in real time.

Naheen dekhay koi. Kya kar saktay hain?
Can't contribute to a problem which brings me so much worry as a parent.

We discussed what we were feeling in the moment, there was no topic or any structure to the conversation. Just an honest account of how we feel about being on social media, how the journey has been so far and ofcourse patriarchy, capitalism and social systems came up🙊

I saw a reel where a fierce young woman was talking to women about how she needed more baddie intellectual aurtain on her profile. I immediately thought, I have to befriend this girl. So I invited her to the Gray Podcast and the rest you can see in this Podcast🔥 ( Link in Bio)

From the moment we started talking, I knew this wasn't going to be a polite, surface-level podcast. This girl has so much spark. She is a threat to this capitalist and patriarchal world. I had so much fun. It was such a cathartic meetup: raw, real and threatening to fragile egos.

If you've been missing those long conversations with friends where you question everything, imagine bringing the system down and dream about revolutionizing the world, this podcast is for you, because as you can see in the reel, I SPOKE MY HEART OUT!!!!

And Waniya, May you find everything you wish for, in abundance and in your favor
