ANGLES FOR FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY: Angle 1 – At 90 degrees, you've achieved a top-shot angle, giving the food a graphic look, particularly if you centre your subject.
Angle 2 – At a 10-20 degree angle, your dish looks most appetising as the viewer is pulled in, with food appearing at a counter clockwise tilt.
Angle 3 – At 45 degrees, your angle allows for the subject to fill the frame as you tilt the camera upwards. This way, your viewer scans the foreground as well as the background.
Angle 4 – At 0 degrees, you can achieve a clean, contemporary look and feel.
