These images depict the harsh realities of life at a brick kiln, where laborers toil under the scorching sun. The intense heat is almost palpable as workers carry heavy bricks, their faces drenched in sweat, marked by exhaustion and sheer determination.

Some workers have visible wounds on their hands, symbolizing the unsafe and unforgiving conditions in which they work. These injuries speak volumes about the physical toll this labor takes, highlighting the risks they endure daily just to earn a living.

The dusty atmosphere, piles of bricks, and the oppressive heat captured in the images portray more than just hard work—they reflect endurance, vulnerability, and the unseen struggles of those at the margins of society.

These photographs are not just a visual record of labor; they raise powerful questions about human dignity, exploitation, and the silent strength of the working class.

At 70+, their hair still radiates vibrancy, with dark orange hues reflecting their personality and spirit. The white streaks in their beard tell tales of experience and time, while the dark orange strands still exude passion and energy.

The cigarette and biscuit in their hands tell two different stories - perhaps the cigarette reminisces about the past, while the biscuit represents contentment and satisfaction in the present.

Their peaceful face shows they've lived life on their own terms and now enjoy the fruits of their experiences.
