𝑇𝑂𝑂 𝐿𝐴𝑇𝐸:
Don't delay or make it too late to break the fast. When it's time to break your fast, be quick to break it.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said,
"The people will remain on the right path as long as they hasten the breaking of the fast."
(Sahih Bukhari 1957)
𝑁𝐸𝐺𝐿𝐼𝐺𝐸𝑁𝐶𝐸 𝐼𝑁 𝑇𝐴𝑅𝐴𝑊𝐸𝐸𝐻:
In Taraweeh, the people don't pay much attention to the word of the Qur'an, rather they keep on waiting for the Imam to go to Ruku. Don't do that. Listen to the words of the Quran attentively. Try to feel them. Even if you can't understand them, still your heart would feel at ease.
Allah says,
"When the Qur'an is recited, then listen to it and pay attention that you may receive mercy."
(Quran 7:204)
𝐵𝐸𝐼𝑁𝐺 𝑆𝐸𝐿𝐹𝐼𝑆𝐻:
Ramadan is not about only looking after yourself. You should also try to look for others and help them break their fast.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said,
"Whoever provides the food for a fasting person to break his fast with, then for him is the same reward as his (the fasting person's), without anything being diminished from the reward of the fasting person."
(Tirmidi 807, Sahih)
𝐹𝐴𝑆𝑇 & 𝐹𝑈𝑅𝐼𝑂𝑈𝑆:
When you're fasting, avoid getting angry and furious, give up your bad speech and do not quarrel with anyone.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said,
"When any one of you gets up in the morning in the state of fasting, he should neither use obscene language nor do any act of ignorance. And if anyone slanders him or quarrels with him, he should say: "I am fasting, I am fasting."
(Sahih Muslim 1151)
"Whoever does not give up forged speech and evil actions, Allah is not in need of his leaving his food and drink."
(Sahih Bukhari 1903)
𝑇𝑂𝑂 𝐹𝐴𝑆𝑇:
There are people who read the Quran too fast like a ferrari and the same thing happens in Taraweeh as well. Don't do that. Go slow. And read it beautifully. Even if you are able to read less, no problem. We are not in a speedy competition. Quality is better than the quantity.
Allah says,
"Recite the Qur'an with measured rhythmic recitation."
(Quran 73:4)
𝐼𝑀𝑀𝑂𝑅𝐴𝐿𝐼𝑇𝑌 𝑂𝑁 𝑆𝑂𝐶𝐼𝐴𝐿 𝑀𝐸𝐷𝐼𝐴:
Imagine that you're fasting and you open your social media and suddenly you see a post where a man or woman doing exercise in short dresses, and quickly you scroll down but then in the next post you see a tiktok girl who is dancing on a latest song, again you scroll down and then you see haram meme. Plus, don't click on "Explore" button as that's also filled with fitnah.
Do you think it's worth it. Filter it out. Unfollow such pages. They may ruin your fast. Follow authentic Islamic pages. But after Eid, do not follow them back and unfollow the Islamic ones. Okay?
𝐸𝑋𝑇𝑅𝐴𝑉𝐴𝐺𝐴𝑁𝑇 𝐼𝐹𝑇𝐴𝐴𝑅 𝑃𝐴𝑅𝑇𝐼𝐸𝑆:
When you break your fast, don't be too extravagant in having different kinds of meals which make you feel lazy to pray Maghrib, Isha and Taraweeh. Be moderate and don't be too extravagant.
Allah says,
"Eat and drink, but not excessive. Indeed, He does not like those who commit excess."
(Quran 7:31)
𝑁𝐼𝐺𝐻𝑇 𝑂𝑊𝐿:
There are people who remain awake (not because of Ibadah or work) and do not sleep the whole night, or they spend their Ramadan nights by chatting with their friends, and roaming in the streets and then they go to sleep after Suhoor and Fajr. But during the day, they waste most of the day by sleeping.
You shouldn't do that.
Don't be a night owl.
Be a human.
