Hey friends! I'm .rafey.ahmed, a CA Finalist by profession and a traveler, photographer and digital creator by passion... But shh!! you all need to know me as and this is the 1st chapter of my journey.
This shot is very special for me because just a few moments after capturing it, I felt this is the right time to share my journey!I am traveling and exploring the natural beauty of Pakistan alone since I was 15. It's fun to travel with family and friends too but trust me there's no adventure in life until you pack your bag, book your tickets, say bye to f&f and decide to travel alone. Not just that you keep on exploring many beautiful places that were unknown to you but traveling alone also helps you exploring your own self and doing catharsis by becoming a guru of intra-personal communication. It is always a journey of within and beyond! After 7 years of my traveling journey, my conclusion is that "Even 100 books read in an year cannot teach, what you learn in a single day of traveling."
Traveling is all about learning and experiences but my favourite part as a traveler cm foodie is that you get a chance to eat a great variety of tasty mouthwatering meals that you haven't even ever heard about and above all, the biggest blessing is to get an opportunity of observing and enjoying different cultures and interacting with people belonging to different regions having different castes and speaking different languages. Cultural diversity is the biggest perk that traveling has to offer!
My story started when I was a kid and we went to village for our uncle's wedding. It was my first experience with mountains and I found them very fascinating. Since I had no interest in the wedding, so I started spending all my time just in watching these magnificent beauties on earth! As time passed, I got completely lost in the trance of Mountains, Lakes and Greenery. I was always an introvert and didn't know how to express my feelings in front of anyone so I decided to kept them hidden, until in the trance of gigantic mountains, I finally decided to open up and made them my best friends and secret keepers! I know it sounds childish but while relaxing on the rocks, I used to share with them all my stories and secrets and love listening to their stories expanded over a time span of centuries. I used to tell my family that the mountains recognize me, I am their best friend and they talk to me but everyone used to enjoy the innocence of a cute child and no one obviously believed!
Years have passed and nothing is changed, except that the bond I share with nature has become stronger with every passing day.
P.s. It took me years to step out of comfort zone and share my journey! The lamest excuse I always gave to myself was the absence of Equipment and pro-level Editing skills, but when I asked myself what is my aim? Is it to show off my Photography skills or impress someone with my Cinematography?
This question helped me in realising that all I ever wanted was to be a part of your journey and making you an important part of mine.. so I'm starting with my mobile camera and basic editing skills.
