Para sempre Luís Represas!

Luís foi o primeiro artista Português que me recebeu de braços abertos e que tive a honra de fotografar diversas vezes, inclusive fazendo a foto de capa de seu último álbum, Miragem, e os concertos de reunião com Trovante.

Meus sentimentos a família, amigos e toda equipa que conheci durante os últimos anos. F**a a saudade e as inúmeras músicas que levarão sua memória eternamente.

Another carousel of pictures taken at Hellfest Open Air Festival during ACCEPT set when I had the chance to shoot the first song of their set.

I have shot Accept before and it is one of the most fun live acts to shoot. Lots of poses and interactions… the setlist? All classics!

SEPULTURA show #19 of #25: the last one of the first leg! Release Athens Festival is another MASSIVE festival and the greek crowd is INSANE! Also this was by far the hottest day of the tour.

We will be back on July 31st at the legendary Wacken Open Air! Can’t wait!

A few weeks ago at Hellfest Open Air Festival I had the opportunity to shoot Helloween for 1 song… these are a few snaps I did during “March Of Time” which opened their set. Sun was still hitting hard and it was hot as f$&k but they just went full force with Andi Deris & Michael Kiske singing together that one.

I was (am) a huge Helloween through my teenage years and I never thought I would see the band back again with Kai Hansen 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻 and SortOfBedman so it always great to see they all on the same stage.

SEPULTURA show #18 of #25: another big one… Tons of Rock in Norway is such a great festival. Not huge but looks massive from the stage and the crowd was very intense! So many people crowdsurfing and so many mosh pits… this one before the last concert of the first leg. From here we went to Athens, Greece, but that is for another post.

SEPULTURA show #17 of #25: going for the last shows of the first leg of the tour, Huskvarna in Sweden 🇸🇪 was a very warm afternoon/night at a very cool setting for a outdoor venue. I was able to shoot at some different angles side stage and the band delivered yet another awesome concert. The full set (when they are not playing at Festivals with shorter shows) have some of my favorite songs such as Slave New World and Dead Embryonic Cells. Always 🔥.

Another band I was able to catch during the first leg of SEPULTURA’s European tour… shot the first 2 songs of 𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐆𝐄 at the Nova Rock Festival in Austria. Huge riffs, soaring vocals and bass & drums holding it tight and heavy. What else would you want?

SEPULTURA show #16 of #25: COPENHELL might be my favorite festival of this entire leg of the tour. Big but not huge, both main stages are easy to get in out, easy to watch from anywhere in the crowd, great backstage area, great food… list goes on and on. Really had a blast and can’t wait to come back someday.

Also it was definitely a top 3 SEPULTURA concert on this tour for me. Crowd was insane and I think it was a perfect way to say farewell to the danish fans.

I had the chance to shoot 1 song of Queensryche Official set at Hellfest Open Air Festival. Last few times I have seem the band with this lineup have all been absolute 🔥. Great setlist, crystal clear sound and masterful delivery! If you have the chance to see them on tour don’t miss it.
