Competition Time: I recently attended the Qatar Motor Show. From time to time an interesting game I like to play is to guess the car from the type of it's lights. I decided to take some photos of car lights. So, for the car enthusiasts out there, let's see how many of you can guess the make and models of these cars. Full marks only if you get both the make and model correct.

This photo brings many many painful memories back to the forefront of the mind. Taken in 2012 at an IDP camp in the Somalian city of Mogadishu, it shows the ray's of hope on a young face, who otherwise had no access to clean water, medicine or even a roof over his head. We had travelled there as part of an humanitarian mission to document the suffering of those effected by the years of famine and war in the horn of Africa. I wonder where this child is now, what life he is currently living and whether he survived.

The Kaaba is a large stone structure that stands in the middle of the Masjid al-Haram in the city of Makkah, Saudi Arabia. It is the focal point of prayer of all Muslims globally, and needless to say the focal point of the Holy Mosque.

This picture show the doors of the Kabbah which are set in the South-East wall. The door is c.7 feet from the ground. The doors were installed in 1979 and are reportedly made of 300kg of gold.
