We’ve been with Mixed Feelings since what feels like day one. And since Mixed Feelings is Maria’s baby, I guess that makes iso its godparent? Yeah, that sounds right. Exhibition godparents 😇
And like any responsible godparents, we showed up for every big milestone with a camera in our hands: the christening with burețelul, the tăierea moțului with glaze and ovens (an odd choice for the tray, but who are we to judge), the vernissage, which is basically a first-grade school play, and the exhibition closing during BAW? The little dude’s graduation.
In between all that, countless hours spent rescanning negatives, checking print colour accuracy, and, of course, Matei’s favourite part: bringing out the power tools to get the works on the wall.
Safe to say we’re proud godparents. And just as safe to say, we probably now have enough footage to make a whole feature length documentary about Mixed Feelings 💛
