Limits of Permissiveness
This project was created in 2017, during my final year at the British Higher School of Art & Design.
It became a reflection on youth.
That moment in life when you are no longer a child, but your curiosity is still fearless and almost childlike.
When you began exploring your own moral boundaries and trying to understand what you are truly made of.
Each of us goes through these stages — in different ways.
And honestly, it’s fascinating to return to this project nine years later and look at it through more “formed” eyes.
I no longer speak with most of the people who took part in this series.
But one of them became my husband.
A strange and beautiful form of life documentation.
And I’m incredibly happy that the very first print I made for the exhibition was gifted to him 🌸
