I'll have to say that Saint Petersburg is the most delicious city in Russia, and I mean most delicious! Crafted from 1703, St Petersburg was only driven by an intention of Peter the Great to build a city on a swamp and it had soon become the capital city of Russia just 10 years right after the first brick had laid on the ground to turn Russian Empire's capital from Moscow to the West and gain its access to the sea. Nowadays, St Petersburg mesmerizes visitors with magnificent scenes of Baroque urban where you can barely find it somewhere else on Earth. In over 300 years, the city has had many faces. It became the national pride since the Soviet time; today it's a window to Europe, a Russian cultural hub, a mix between classic and modern world, and a perfect time capsule where you can travel back to those good old grandeur-days. St Petersburg combines various flavors in itself and it's a combo bite that will impress you for a lifetime.

Built in the 16th century, Wat Pho is there along with eras of Rama kings for its importance as the first-class royal temple. With a traditional Thai architecture mixing and a classical Chinese influence, it's an ideal landmark on Rattanakosin Island where cultures created greatness. Four remarkable pagodas of King rama I to IV and the biggest reclining Buddha image are hilights of the visit. Spend an evening here to catch a glimpse of golden reflections from the sun on each pagoda decorated with glass mosaics. One thing I should mention, it's a must-visit when you're in Bangkok.

Should you have nothing to do this weekend, head west to Wat Arun or the Temple of Dawn! Feel the beauty of antique porcelain portions delicately decorated on the texture of the great pagodas symbolizing Mount Meru in Buddhism. Step on this great architecture masterpiece of Thailand traces back to 1656 BE., then have a cocktail at the Deck by Arun Residence embraced by a great sunset view of Bangkok. This itinerary will surely be a memorable one, especially when you go as a couple!

Chulalongkorn U. is the oldest university in Thailand and its lovely environment is ranked as one of the greenest urban campuses in Asia. I was out in the sun meeting with my friends at the Faculty of Architecture and I had a couple of hours doing nothing, so I decided to spend time in an afternoon heat snapping some pictures of few buildings in the campus.

Catching a glimpse of sunset on top of Skeppsholmen hill in the last day before we left was a right choice to wrap up the whole spirit of our Scandinavian trip. Stockholm is just a charming city to visit and I hope to see you around!
