Cobblestone streets warmed by the sun, colourful facades, hidden alleys, and golden evening light bouncing between the old buildings. In summer, Stockholm’s Old Town feels almost magical. 🤍

It is one of my favourite places for photo sessions because every corner tells a story. The city becomes part of the photographs — the little streets you wandered through, the ice cream stops, the boats nearby, the feeling of a summer evening that never really ends. ✨

A tiny baby, safely held in mum’s hands, looking up with the sweetest little smile. It’s amazing how early these connections begin — how a newborn already knows exactly where comfort, warmth, and love can be found. 🤍

Black and white photography has a beautiful way of simplifying everything. No distractions, no colours — just two people who already know each other perfectly. ✨

These little expressions change so quickly. One day, this happy little face looking up at mum will become a memory, and these photographs will bring it all back.

🤍 One family, many Stockholm memories 🇸🇪

I’ve photographed this wonderful family every year since the birth of their twins, and every year we’ve chosen a different corner of Stockholm as our backdrop. ✨

One year by the water, another among the city streets, another beneath the spring blossoms. Looking back, the photos don’t just tell the story of how the children have grown — they also become a little love letter to the city they grew up in.

But there is another beautiful approach: returning to the exact same spot year after year. Keeping the location constant and letting the children take centre stage. Watching the little faces change, the heights increase, the personalities emerge. 🤍

Both create something special. One tells the story of a family and a city. The other tells the story of childhood itself.

You may be tiny, but you’ve already completely taken over the place. ✨

A little Moses basket on soft sheepskin, tucked into a beautiful home that suddenly feels a little fuller, a little noisier, and a whole lot more loved.

The first days with a newborn are such a unique chapter. Everything is new, routines are turned upside down, and somehow this tiny person already feels like they’ve always belonged. 🤍

This is exactly why I love in-home newborn photography — capturing not just the baby, but the home and life they have just arrived in. One day, these photos will be a reminder of where it all began.

🌿 New location unlocked 🌿

I recently discovered another gem for family photoshoots: Tyresö Castle, just south of Stockholm. And honestly, it has everything. ✨

Beautiful meadows, water views, charming red Swedish houses, winding paths, and even a little café with bunny rabbits hopping around nearby. It feels like stepping into a storybook — while still being easily accessible from the city.

Finding new locations is one of my favourite parts of being a photographer. Every place has its own character and helps tell a different family story. 🤍
