Weekend to remember for me. It was great meeting the participants and working with the organizers. I can’t judge the event objectively, but I saw some smiles on faces of participants… so hopefully, it must have been good.

What really gives this meet its unique character is how welcoming it is to all enthusiasts, no matter what they drive. Whether it’s a rusty be**er, a plastic daily, a perfectly restored classic, or a supercar - it creates an incredible diversity that’s rarely seen at other events.

It’s very hard for me to write something about this event that won’t sound cliche. It’s not just another event to photograph. Here I have the honor to work with my friends on shaping it. Sometimes it’s fun, sometimes struggle, but we are always back together working on next edition. The annual meeting took place last weekend in . The weather made an attempt to disrupt it, but the spirits were high and I can see some smiles on a few photos I managed to take.

This season started very late for me. But I really can’t complain — beautiful sunny weather and countless stunning Italian machines all around, that’s definitely the right way to begin! And the best part? This is only the beginning of a whole series of exciting events dedicated to Italian motoring.

Sometimes it is worth paying attention to what happens beyond the main attraction, because that is often where the true character of an event reveals itself.

It’s a good habit to have a look at what is happening around the area of the event. For me, one of the highlights of the last weekend’s Moto & Macchine Elmer was driving to it behind a red Pantera. I was feeling like if I was playing an old DOS game. The only difference: there were no speed cameras in DOS games.
Also, I have seen a few interesting cars heading to the venue, but didn’t notice them there. Like a nice Fiat Ducato or charmingly beat-up Punto II.
It’s also amazing to see the Alfa Romeo Arna. This may be the worse Alfa Romeo ever made, but it’s also one of the hardest to see.

The season has finally started for me. Quite late, but I can’t complain - the whole meadow filled with Italian beauties can wipe off all the bad vibes brought by a long winter break. 1st May is traditionally a day to drive to Skokloster for the Moto & Macchine event.

I wasn’t sure what to make of at first. I thought it’d be some soulless, modern space focused on marketing gimmicks. But what I found was a great showcase of different vehicles, presented in a way that’s both informative and entertaining, with a nice dash of humor.
