As part of the single-family home movement at the end of the 19th century in Sweden, these beautiful buildings on Slöjdgatan, Kåbo (Uppsala) were part of the city's target to provide the working class with their own housing.

🎨 Colour matching townhouses at Karlsrogatan 78, Uppsala.
The colours of these terraced houses go hand in hand with the colour scheme of the cultural heritage neighbourhood Lasseby Gärde next door.
Pretty at the front. DON'T go round the back!

H-huset was an exciting project to create CGI, VR and film for (swipe and see the case study link below). It looks fantastic and I hope that everyone who works and receives there will be satisfied!
Great work everyone involved on the project 🤩 including my now defunct 3D studio at Sweco, their architects, NCC and Region Orebro.

Uppsala kommun bjuder i nomineringar till deras arkitekturpriset 2021 men något som slipped-under-the-radar för mig var att min visualisering av Senapsfabriken användes för en av 2020-nomineringarna! Bra jobbat Martin Peterzen Hagel och Sweco Uppsala 🤩

🥦🌲🥦 After weeks of snow I'd been waiting for a clear, sunny morning in the local area. This wasn't the building I set out to photograph but it looked pretty "proud" behind those bare oaks. Just in time to show off the new roof before those trees become big broccoli florets!
I've just learnt that a company are set to move in but it's previous tenants were a school for children having it tough in life - Ekebyverkstad. Originally though it was used as a food hall for the local ceramic factory - Lot's of history here. Expect more photos!

⇢ "Fyra internationella arkitektteam har utsatts för att delta i ett parallellt uppdrag om utvecklingen av Stockholms centralstation". That's a news "train" I'm happy to jump on! ⇣
It was way back in 2016 and I was the visual guy for an office working on a similar proposal. I'm really appreciative to have been able to work on such exciting projects, especially train related. I'm a bit of a closet train nerd 🤓. It'll be interesting to see what the chosen four teams come up with.

Arkitekter ⇢ En tjänst jag erbjuder som kan vara mycket fördelaktig för dina koncept är fotografering på plats som kan användas i visualisering. Jag tog nyligen foton för ett visualiseringsföretag ⇣
Ljuset var så vackert att även om jag inte kan visa projektet vill jag att alla ska uppleva solnedgången med en beskärningsbild ✂🌄😍
Jag har till och med lärt mig att leka med ISO sifforna nästa gång för att slippa denoising och sharpening i post... jobbigt!

"Previz" - I had to put together a quote/offert for this project where the client could only supply a DWG plan, and an iPhone photo.
It's always hard to estimate how much it will cost when you have little supporting material. But I can also understand that it demands a lot of the client to know, and understand, exactly what they want, when they also haven't seen a model.
I set to work one evening to see if I could build this interesting warehouse. I used the photo provided by matching the camera, and modelling by view.
I didn't get the project in the end but I am happy I was able to produce this teaser for the client anyway. Next time eh! 🙃

"Exhaust Note"
I've always wanted to do a classic F1 image so while developing my particle systems skills in 3ds Max, I couldn't think of a more perfect subject than visualising the sparks from the cars bottoming out.
Quick Question of Sport!...
a) Can you name the F1 team?
b) Can you name the famous corner(s)?

I recently helped a team of architects with visualisation for a competition. They were really happy with our collaboration and the images they received. The team was able to focus on the concept while getting many useful draft images from their own model but combined with my 3D work.
The task of a visualiser is just as important as the architects, landscape architects, engineers etc. during competition pressures.

I thought this crop from an early draft was a bit interesting. I like the simple shape, materiality and how the sun lights up a few of the sides.
