Elizabeth Nyakuony James and her six children have been living in the Bentiu IDP camp since 2014, when they were displaced by the civil war. Though the conflict has ended, Elizabeth dreams of returning to her hometown of Buaw, now submerged by floods. Today, Elizabeth and her daughter Nyasibit prepare lunch, one of only two daily meals for the family, made simply with sorghum, water, and salt.

Nine-year-old Nyasibit accompanies her mother, Elizabeth, who became disabled after being shot while escaping to Bentiu during the civil war. Since Elizabeth can no longer handle strenuous tasks, Nyasibit frequently misses school to assist with household chores.

Kush was the “Land of the Bow" 🏹 🎯

Hunters using bows and arrows appear in Nubian rock art as early as the Neolithic period and hunting provided subsistence for Nubians throughout much of their history. Some of Nubia's most important trade products, like animal skins and ivory, came from the hunt.

The skill of Nubian archers made them valued members in the military forces of other lands. Egyptian texts as early as 2400 BC note Nubians in Kemet armies. Representations of Nubian warriors appear in some tombs, reliefs, and paintings in all periods of Kemet history.

Nubian archers were so skilled and so accurate that they could hit enemies in the eye and blind them without killing them, they defended themselves against the Egyptians, Romans and Arabs invaders.

At one point Kemet was conquered by the Nubians from 750 B.C to 712 B.C. and for a period a line of Nubian pharaohs, known as the 25th Dynasty of Kemet, ruled both lands.

MALAKAL – At least eight people have been killed and several others wounded, including the Upper Nile state police commissioner, in an outbreak of violence in the state capital Malakal. The violence erupted on Thursday after four Shilluk men were attacked and killed at a fishing pool north of Malakal airport, according to government officials, academics, and community leaders who spoke to Sudan Post on Saturday....

Nuer is comprise of twelves (12) major Tribes, thirty three (33) subtribes and more than one hundreds and thirty eight (138) sections with each section is having more than five (5) subsections and each subsections got more than seven (7) clans while each clans also got more than seven sub-clans.
These are the following of the Nuer nation and nationality tribes, subtribes and sections without their subsections, clans and sub-clans included.
The Nuer.
The Nuer are divided by the River Nile and this division cut their land into Western and Eastern Nuer, Eastern Nuer included the Central Nuer but to make the division simple, the land divisions is put into two, West and East.

Base on this factual undisputable assessment of Turial Ruach, which specified the twelve (12) major tribes of Nuer with their thirty two (32) subtribes to their one hundreds and thirty eight (138) major sections with each sections is consist of more than five (5) subsections and each subsections is also comprised of seven (7) clans with each clans also consist of sub-clans that may rise from seven and above, since this is the right mean to assess Nuer’s populations by applying a number of a clans could be than we will begin the work with multiplying the major sections into subsections with each from the major sections is estimated to be comprise of five (5) subsections.
Multiplied one hundreds and thirty eight (138) major sections into five (5) the results will be six hundreds and ninety (690) subsections than multiplied the (690) subsections with each with seven (7) clans this will bring you a results of four thousands eight hundreds and thirty (4,830) clans than multiplied 4,830 of each clans per seven (7) sub- clans the results will be thirty three thousands eight hundreds and ten (33,810) sub- clans.
