In Loving Memory of the Late Hon. Mayot Kunit Miyen.

Sunrise: January 1, 1965 | Sunset: November 19, 2023

The Abyei Community Association in Kakuma and the Family of the Late Hon. Mayot Kunit Miyen most respectfully and lovingly announced the Second Anniversary of his passing and invited all community members, leaders, friends, and well-wishers to a memorial gathering to honour his great legacy.

Today, November 19, 2025, marks two years since we lost a truly remarkable man. While our hearts still ache with grief, we gather not only to mourn but to celebrate the vibrant life he lived and share the beautiful memories he left etched in our minds.

We remember him with profound love and respect as a:
* Great Son of Abyei
* Loving Father and Husband
* Brave and Strong Leader who dedicated his life to the service and well-being of his people.
