Award-winning video director Aleon spotted in distress on Juba streets

Concerns are growing after award-winning video director Aleon Anton Fada, known for his work under Aleon Visuals, was spotted wandering the streets of Munuki in a distressed state.

Photos circulating widely on social media show Aleon walking barefoot and shirtless, prompting alarm among members of the creative community.

A reporter from Juba Echo, who captured the images, said attempts were made to engage him, but he appeared unable to recognise anyone and was speaking to himself.

The situation has sparked calls from friends and colleagues urging his family to intervene and ensure he receives urgent psychiatric support.

Aleon is widely respected in South Sudan’s entertainment industry, and many are now rallying for assistance as concerns over his mental health continue to grow.
