Capturing good photographs during a family trip—especially when traveling with kids—can be quite a challenge. Between the excitement, the constant movement, and the unpredictability of little ones, finding the perfect moment isn’t always easy. “Winter’s Palette, Painted in Light”

Although these images resemble infrared photography, they are not. The striking colors arise from the natural winter landscape: trees blanketed in snowflakes set against vivid blue skies. This interplay of light and color produces an effect reminiscent of IR photography. Taken at the Snow Ski Resort atop the mountain of Nozawa Onsen, the compositions required deliberate framing. With the slopes crowded by skiers and snowboarders, each shot demanded careful adjustment to remove visual clutter and preserve the purity of the scene.
