Hasselblad 500C - Shutter Jammed
A full CLA after storing it for years.

My advice:
Please contact your local technician first.
If the repair takes longer than 2 months
or the cost is too high,
then feel free to contact me and my team

We don’t just repair according to the symptoms you reported, but we check everything.

Lens - Reset the lens shutter speed control gear system, clean the lens elements, check for accurate focus, check self-timer, check flash socket.

Body - Calibrate focus, check shutter cocking gear, oil and grease, clean the gear system.

Film Back - Check frame spacing, check frame count according to magazine type, replace light seals to prevent light leaks, check magazine counter operation, check if the attachment to the camera body is secure or not.

_ And anything else that we think your camera, lens, and film magazine will be cared for in the best possible way.

- Shutter Cocking Mechanism Check - Inspect and service all shutter cocking gears
- Lubrication - Clean and lubricate all gears and mechanical systems
- Chrome/Black Re-plating - Check if the chrome coating on the body is peeling, rusted, or worn out. Re-chrome or black re-paint if necessary

Cameras and magazines are the same.
When we use them, we have to take care of them
to keep them neat and beautiful all the time —
even if they’re used.

I would never let the paint chip or the leather peel.
It’s like clothes — I can’t wear them out dirty and wrinkled to meet people.
Because then I’d look sloppy.

before finally deciding to send it to me for repair.
The condition of the camera and viewfinder is exactly as you see in the video.
It’s not an easy repair… but it can be done.

After that we can restore it.
We can repaint the viewfinder to match the body,
or we can leave it as is — that’s not a problem.
Because in the end, the camera works..!! 😎😎

My team and I know that not every camera
can be repaired by a technician in your hometown.
Especially the 2000 series,
where most repair technicians have already retired.
