No matter how tough the repair job is...
no matter how bad or hopeless the situation seems, my team and I can fix your problem 100%. Let the short video tell the story.

The owner of this 201 sent it in looking good on the outside, but dead shutter curtains on the inside.
Now take a look at the condition when he got it back — it was in even worse shape, and still didn’t work.

All of this after about four months at another repair shop.
And yes, my friend already paid for that repair. I won’t say where, just know this: my team fixed it and got it done..!!

Total time for repair and system testing? About one week. It’ll be shipped back to the US in the next day or two. 😍😍

Coating black to silver, or painting silver to black. Hinges with flaking paint and rust that look ugly. Waist level finders that don’t match the body.

These might be your problems — but they’re not ours. Because we make your problems disappear.

Turnaround time: just 2–3 days.

Modifying a 503CW winder to work with 200 series cameras is still one of our specialties.
It’s tricky — we’re dealing with both complex mechanics and electrical systems, especially when the motor was already faulty.
We fix what’s broken, and sometimes that means replacing the main board.

But that’s what we do.
And we make sure it’s worth it for you.

Have a lens with coating issues you thought no one could fix?
Shutter speeds running off?
A sticky shutter button?
Whatever’s wrong with your camera, send it to me and my team.

Every Hasselblad we service has a story. This 500c came all the way from Delaware, USA. The owner is a former senior engineer from Lockheed Martin and a close friend of Richard Nordin, author of The Hasselblad Compendium—a name every true Hasselblad fan knows.

It was sent to my shop for a repair few can do: separating deteriorated lens elements and recoating them with the original formula. You’ll see the results in this Reel. 😍

My team and I have specialized exclusively in Hasselblad for nearly 30 years.
We rarely touch other brands. In that time, we’ve serviced over 1000 bodies, 2,000 lenses, and 3,000 magazines—restoring them to like-new, perfect working condition.

That expertise isn’t cheap, but we keep our rates affordable for fellow Hasselblad users. Our goal is to get these cameras back to doing what they do best.
This is a craft, not just a business chasing profit.
Anyone who knows me can vouch for that. But don’t just take my word for it 😁

No matter the condition of your body, lens, or magazine, we’re confident we can repair and fully restore 97% of them.

A Hasselblad 501c (1994–1997, 10,600 units made) black trim was sent to my shop for repair and CLA because it wasn’t working. The leather had shrunk, the camera plate was broken, the dark slide holder needed a genuine replacement, and the auxiliary shutter curtain had deteriorated Palpas that needed replacing.
It doesn’t take a week—two days is enough because me and the team have genuine spare parts in stock ready to swap immediately.

In generally, When you have the skill and experience, there’s no need to claim it’s difficult and time-consuming just to charge a premium for a ‘hard repair’ or inflate the labor cost.
I don’t need to do that. If you’ve been doing the same job repeatedly for years and still go around telling people it’s hard and takes a long time, I think that doesn’t make much sense, in my opinion.

Also, I know fellow Hasselblad users can afford it, but if you’re my friend, why pay more than you should? 😁

Every Hasselblad that gets sent to me for repair comes with an impressive story.
This 2000FC/M is no different. The camera arrived completely disassembled, with parts scattered in a bag of spares. But that’s not a problem for me or my repair team.

This kind of challenge is something no one wants to take on, and most of the technicians who could fix them have already retired. So what’s left falls to the new generation like us 😁

One thing that requires real expertise is reassembling the shutter curtains — the shutter speeds have to operate accurately at every speed. This process is very detailed and requires skill to get it precise. The next step is setting the Mirror settings mode. If the assembly or repair isn’t perfect, this function won’t work. But you can trust our hands and have confidence in us. We’ve successfully repaired and restored more than 200 cameras from the 200 and 2000 series back to normal operation.

This idea isn’t bad at all.!! Take the money you’d spend on round-trip shipping and import taxes and use it to buy a plane ticket to visit Thailand instead 😁

If you have a camera that needs maintenance or repair, I recommend planning a trip to Thailand. Use no more than a week of your vacation, and you can take your camera back home with you. No need to wait several months, and no unnecessary extra costs.

There are only a few reasons why fellow Hasselblad users from around the world keep sending me their other cameras whenever they have issues.
One of those reasons is trust — they believe that my repair team and I will take care of their cameras and gear just as well as we always have.
And that’s the truth 😍😍

Hi my friends..!!
You can test whether your magazine has even frame spacing by following this short video.

But for me and the repair team, fixing magazines — I could say it’s easy, but could also say it’s difficult.
Besides replacing the light trap seal to prevent light leaks onto the film, one of the key things is checking the frame spacing after we replace the frame stopper part.

If that part is worn, it will cause uneven frame spacing, and in the end you won’t get the full 12, 16, or 24 frames depending on the film type or magazine you’re using.

Here’s a simple test method like in the example.
You don’t need to test it by actually shooting film, which wastes film and time. 😍😍

Enjoy..!! 😍😍

One truth is that with the black C lens or C bronze lens type, over time the aperture control becomes loose and can’t keep the aperture fully open all the time — except when we actually press the shutter.
Only then will the aperture stop down to the value we set, and it will open wide again once we c**k the shutter.

The aperture was designed to stay wide open at all times so that when focusing, we can clearly see the image or subject.
It will only stop down to the set value when we press the shutter.
This issue can be fixed or repaired.
Even though some people might feel it doesn’t need to be repaired, the point is this: for example, when we set the aperture to f/8, the aperture blades will stop down accordingly.

We won’t know for sure if we’ve nailed focus because the depth of field already covers the subject we want to shoot.
Therefore, keeping the aperture wide open is the correct approach.

How can you tell if the main spring that controls your lens shutter speed is bad?
The simple way to check: before shooting any real film, you should always test your camera body with lens.
Fire the shutter at slow speeds first as a check.

The symptoms I commonly see when people send lenses in for repair are that the shutter speeds malfunction at the slower range, from 1/4s to 1/30s.
And if the slow speeds aren’t faulty, the problem will usually show up in the faster range instead, from 1/60s to 1/500s.

The tricky part is that you won’t get any warning. There are no advance symptoms, just like getting heat stroke.
Or, if you don’t check your shutter speeds regularly, by the time you realize it, your entire last roll of film might come back with no images at all — not even one 😅

Very important: **
The replacement main spring that controls the shutter speed is the same part for both the first Compur shutter design and the Prontor shutter design. It uses the same part number, from 1970–2007.

My team and I know this to be true from having replaced this part in more than 1,000 lenses.
